Welcome to The Village at Lyons Cookery School.
From April until July 2012 we have teamed up with some well know chefs offering an array of interesting cookery classes designed to cater for different levels of interest and ability including:-
Oliver Dunne a Michelin Star chef from Bon Appétit Restaurant in Malahide, Co. Dublin
Louise Lennox a celebrity chef from RTE’s The Restaurant programme.
Arun Kapil Founder of Green Saffron an award winning, environmentally friendly Indian family business based in the heart of Ireland’s garden County Cork
Marie McGuirk - from the Irish Country Woman’s Association (ICA). Marie is a celebrity chef, and is featured regularly on the RTÉ reality TV programme ICA Bootcamp who were awarded the best reality TV show at the IFTAs in February 2012.
The Village at Lyons Cookery School was previously run by the well-known Irish Chef, Clodagh McKenna, who will be stepping down from her current role at the end of March 2012 due to her other commitments.
We offer two types of classes from hands on and all students are provided with ingredients for all recipes or simply a demonstration of recipes by the tutor in the cookery school.
All equipment is supplied and we can cater for groups of up to 20 people for the hands on experience and 35 for the Cookery Demonstrations.
